The latter two have a lot of slowdown for some reason. You might think platformers would be easy enough to play without translations, but, many of them have enough plot and internal text elements to get pretty confusing without translation.

There is also a 3-pack with pong, centipede, and missile command. That port is pretty good from what I can tell. I would love to see those on the Genesis.Ĩ-bit arcade games would probably do well on Genesis. Dig-Dug and The Tower of Druaga are two of my favorite 8-bit era arcade games. It's still something I would like to do in the future. I only got as far as ripping the sprites before I got sidetracked by other projects. I just wanted to know if you had any thoughts on that?I wanted to do a port of venture at one point. I suspect the development time will be more manageable, and the result would blow away 8-bit ports. I think most coders want to make MUSHA, but I've argued that homebrewers should make Gyruss or Zaxxon. The hardware should be capable of MAME-like quality for those games. I think a port (or clone) of Donkey Kong or Popeye or other arcade classics of that era would be exceptionally well received on the Genesis. I love your work! I know developers don't take requests, so this is just a general question: Have you ever considered doing 8-bit style games for this 16-bit platform? I've discussed the issue many times here. It's very unfinished, but there are a few rooms, and some objects are clickable. It was intended to be like those "escape" type flash games. Point and click escape game (Unfinished & abandoned)

I might come back to it later, but it's basically abandoned at this point.Įndless flyer type game playable with either a controller or Genesis mouse ROM download link (Newer version than forum post's link)
